The latest list of the world’s most influential scientists, compiled annually by scientists from Elsevier and Stanford University, was recently published by Elsevier, a Dutch publishing company specializing in scientific, technical and medical content. The rankings are listed in two categories: “career-long impact” and “annual impact.”

There were 21 scientists from Boğaziçi University in the “Annual Impact” category prepared for 2022, and 21 in the “Career-long Impact” list. Thus, Boğaziçi scientists managed to be represented among the world’s most influential scientists by being in the 2 percentile in their research fields.
