IMISC 2026 Call for Papers

Dear Researchers,

We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for Track 7: Social Media Analytics and Intelligence Research & Theory (SMART) at the upcoming 13th International MIS Conference (IMISC 2026).

The conference will take place from October 22–24, 2026, at the Uğur Oral Cultural Center, Mersin University, Mersin, Türkiye.

Social media has rapidly transformed from a decentralized platform for content creation into a dynamic space for communication and interaction. Co-chaired by Professor Mehmet Nafiz Aydın (Boğaziçi University) and Professor Metin Kozak (Kadir Has University), this track aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and explore the latest advances in social media data, analytics, and intelligence.

We invite original research from scholars and practitioners exploring areas including, but not limited to:
    Social network analysis
    Sentiment and stance detection
    AI and big data analytics
    Visual analytics for social media
    Digital marketing and competitive intelligence
    Social behavior and public sphere

    Notification of Acceptance: September 30, 2026
