About The Campus: Overlooking the Bosphorus and the Fatih Sultan Bridge, Hisar Campus with its 7.942 square area, is one of the recently built campuses.
The Faculty of Management Sciences, Institute of Environmental Sciences, more than 20 classrooms, 3 amphitheaters and a cafeteria are located in this campus. The campus also includes an indoor swimming pool and a gymnasium.
Classrooms: Department of Management Information Systems locates in A and B blocks of the Faculty of Management Sciences Building in the Hisar Campus. 3 labs and all classes in the department are full of all necessary technological equipment.
Two of the laboratories at the lowest floor of block B are reserved for undergraduate students, and the other is reserved for graduate students. Our students can easily work in laboratories, and they may reach any kind of information at any time.
Computer Labs: At the lower floor of B block, two computer labs with a capacity of 30 computers are reserved for license courses. In the each course in the labs, one computer is reserved for each student in the computer labs.
And also, courses are presented with Visual presentation projector in the labs. In these labs, students find the opportunity to "learning by doing" with computers that contain all the software and hardware for research and application.
Other Facilities: Students can enjoy Cafe-Restaurant in the Campus.
Location and Transfers: Department of MIS is located in Hisar Campus of Boğaziçi University in Rumelihisarüstü. Other campuses in this area are South Campus (main campus), North Campus. Hisar Campus is at a walking distance from the South Campus. Transfers between campuses is provided by frequent shuttle busses. Boğaziçi University in Rumelihisarüstü can be reached through Etiler-Nispetiye Street by buses that take off from Taksim (559C), Mecidiyeköy (59R), Eminönü (43R), and Kadıköy (125). The university bus service for the students is available from several locations of İstanbul at every hour during day time.
